School Day

Willow Fields Community Primary School is situated on the northern outskirts of Sunderland overlooking rural countryside. It is a co-educational primary day school for children of all abilities from 3-11 years of age. The school is not affiliated to any particular religious denomination.

Breakfast Club

We have launched a new and free breakfast club.

Willow Fields Sunshine Breakfast club will run each morning for all children in school. Doors open at 8am with the last serving of breakfast at 8.25am prompt.

What’s new in school

  1. Alterations to library.
  2. Developing an ICT Suite.

School Meals

As always, lunch money (£10 per week) is to be paid each Monday morning in a named tub or purse . If you require your child’s lunch arrangements to change you must inform the school office in writing. Lunch arrangements cannot be changed mid term as we need to give the kitchen at least one month’s notice. The new healthy meals look great.

Educational Visits

I am sure you will agree with us that the educational visits provided for our children last year were a huge success. The children themselves have voiced their feelings and it is clear that all children have certainly appreciated the opportunities they have been given.

Thank you to all parents who completed the questionnaires and for the positive responses.

PE Kit

Please ensure that your child has his/her PE kit in school on their designated PE days. You could send it in each Monday and leave it in school for the week. Children can then take it home each Friday to be washed, and return it to school each Monday.
